Personal Profile

Wang Haogang, Associate Professor and PhD Supervisor of Zhejiang University, is mainly engaged in computational electromagnetics and its basic research in wireless communication, radio frequency integrated circuits, target electromagnetic scattering, remote sensing, and nanometer optical simulation.

Undergraduate (1992-1996) and Ph.D. (1996-2001) were studying at the University of Electronic Science and electronic materials and electronic engineering.

In the University of Electronic Science and Technology PhD in the country during the first implementation of the C language version applicable to large-scale electromagnetic scattering efficient computing such as fighter RCS multi-layer fast multipole algorithm.

In 2006 the Ministry of Education nominated the National Science and Technology Progress Award (No. 6).

2002 to the City University of Hong Kong Department of electrical engineering as a two-year visiting scholar. In the meantime, the first international multi-layer layered structure suitable for the rapid calculation of electromagnetic scattering of multi-layer Green's function interpolation method (MLGFIM). The algorithm is suitable for the efficient calculation of complex electromagnetic and low frequency problems, such as multi-plane stratified antenna array radiation problem and RF circuit parameter extraction, which has been adopted by many universities at home and abroad.

Since 2006, as the project leader or sub-project leader has assumed and is undertaking the national 973 project, the National 863 project, the National Natural Science Foundation of key projects and surface project, and the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Fund and many other projects.

Zhejiang University star program in 2009 as the backup young backbone teachers of Zhejiang University to the United States Seattle University of Washington electrical engineering department for two years, mainly engaged in nano-optical lens optimization and simulation algorithm research and random rough surface scattering research.

He is a member of the Computing Electromagnetics Committee of Computational Physics Society of China and a member of the IEEE. He is a referee of many famous academic journals at home and abroad, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. So far in the calculation of electromagnetics and related applications published more than 30 papers. The student's thesis was awarded the Best Paper Award in the International Conference on Communication ICCT2012.
