Reversed Cherenkov Radiation in Metamaterials

Reversed Cherenkov Radiation is one of the unusual electromagnetic properties of metamaterials. By using a phased electromagnetic dipole array to model a moving charged particle, Prof. Hongsheng Chen's Group experimentally verified a reversed Cherenkov radiation in the left-handed media. Their works are publish in Physical Review Letters and Materials Today.
