2016 "International Electromagnetic Compatibility Research and Application Challenges and Opportunities" seminar!

  The 2016 "Challenges and Opportunities in International Electromagnetic Compatibility Research and Application" Symposium was held on May 23 at Shao Yifu Science Building, Zhejiang University by the Innovative Institute of Electromagnetic Information and Electronic Integration. It was sponsored by the Division of Information Science as one of the important academic activities to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Zhejiang University.

  The invited speakers were seven IEEE fellows: Prof. Weng Cho Chew of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,  Academician of the National Academy of Engineering of the United States, Prof. Marcello D'Amore of the University of Rome, former editor of IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Prof. Swaminathan of Georgia Institute of Technology, Prof. Jose of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, editor of IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, Prof. Kim of KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), Prof. T. L. Wu of Taiwan University, and Dr. Jun Fan of Missouri University of Science and Technology.

  The over 100 participants were faculty members, researchers, and students from 18 universities and institutes, including the 5th and 10th Institutes, China Academy Of Engineering Physics, State Key Laboratory of Complex Electromagnetic Environment Effects on Electronics and Information System, Tsinghua University, National University of Defense Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, North China Electric Power University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University and other 18 foreign participants and the school related teachers and students.
